Internal Link Building

I know that some people are under the misconception that link building just means building links from external sites to your own. They may or may not be all that sure why this is important but they know that is must be important because everyone tells them to do it. Learn about Unique Article Wizard. Everyone is right but external link building isn’t the only kind of link building you should be concerned with. Internal link building is important too, maybe not quite as important as those external links but even that is debatable. In case you aren’t familiar with this terminology then an internal link is one that links one of your pages to another one of your pages on the same site.

If you want some confirmation that maybe I am just not making this stuff up, check out your Google Web Master tools dashboard and click on one of your sites. If you look at the menu on the left then you will see one marked links. Click on it and read what you see……Internal and External links are tracked in Google WMT so it must have some purpose right?

You bet it does….so let’s take a look.

Google Spiders – Internal links connect pages to each other and help the spiders find their way around your site. The more easily the spider finds your other pages then the better.

Anchor Text – The anchor text that you link to each page with is like a road sign for Google. It tells Google what that page is about and Google uses anchor text to determine relevancy etc as we have already discussed. Choose your anchor text wisely and make sure it is a keyword you are trying to rank for on that page.

Visitor Traffic – Readers love checking out links. If they hit one of your pages and like what they read then links to other pages or similar articles might keep them on your site long enough for them to find a product they want to buy.

Authority – Google assigns authority (PR) to pages based on the number and quality of links. Most sites have 95% of their external links pointed to the homepage. You can transfer some of that authority by deep linking to pages inside your site. The more links to every page on your site, the better. Learn Link Building with Social Bookmarking!

Indexing – Google will usually only index about 60-80% of the pages on your site because they find no value on some pages. If you build links internally to all of your pages then you will increase the number of pages indexed and that means more content to attract search engine visitors.

These are only some of the reasons why you should link internally on your sites. If you don’t buy into it by now then nothing I am going to say will convince you. The question is how to do it properly.

What To Demand From A Skilled Seo Firm Or Specialist.

Search engine optimisation is the fundamental foundation for internet marketing, in order to increase visitors to your website and therefore enhance your online sales figures, you need SEO. Optimising a website is a very time consuming process, with both on page and off page elements to be addressed. Combine this with the fact that in order to achieve results, seo must be an ongoing process, and you will see why many businesses opt to outsource their seo work to a specialist agency. seo services

In this guide, I will outline some of the things you should look for in a good seo company:
1. Onsite seo analysis, before doing anything the consultant should look at the onsite optimisation of your website, then provide you with a list of reccommendations, ready for your approval before the changes are made. Without a well optimised site, you are going to be facing an uphill battle with regards to getting your website ranking well. This step often also includes competitor analysis, which will allow the consultant to identify seo strategies of your competitors and apply their strengths to your campaign. It may be that your keywords were not properly researched and as a result a large amount or all of your onsite content may need to be rewritten or replaced in entirety. There are also other factors that can negatively effect your onsite seo, including use of javascript content management systems, or flash navigation. Search engine spiders cannot read flash or javascript. Therefore these types of code can seriously limit their ability to reach content or even whole pages. seo services

2. Optimising your website.
The specialist should then carry out any onsite optimisation based upon the findings of his priliminary examination. There are several areas that you should confirm will be addressed such as: Title description and keyword meta tags, H1 tags and general copywrite keyword density, proximity and prominence optimisation. seo services

3. New content.
Search engines have a thing about new content, a good seo consultant will always reccommend that you try to write at least one new page a week for your website. Your new content should contain a good density of the relevent keywords, ask your consultant about which densities are better for each of the main search engines.

4. Link building
Link building is the process that actually improves your rankings, without an ongoing linkbuilding campaign your website will not rank highly for your chosen keywords. This process must be seen as ongoing, if you stop building inbound links to your site your rankings will steadily drop untill you slide back into the depths.
There are many different techniques for link building, and some are more effective than others. Try to find an agency that are totally open about their link building strategies, this way you know exactly what you are getting for your money.

WHAT REALLY SEPARATES THE FULL-TIMERS FROM THE WANNABES?

Going “full time” for me was nearly accidental. I had been involved in various projects on the net, mostly my own “ideas” and such, or innovations of some kind that I was sure were going to be a big hit.

And you know what?

I always had no problem getting ranked, getting traffic, etc.

It was child’s play.

But what I DID have a problem with – and a big one – was actually making a living out of it. I sure had some nice traffic stats, and lots of compliments from my visitors, etc – but the proverbial “gas tank” was running on fumes.

I EITHER HAD TO FIGURE SOMETHING OUT OR ABANDON “THE DREAM”

(Perhaps this sounds familiar?)

What happened next blew my mind. It involved me trying something one day (out of boredom) that took roughly 20 minutes to execute, and it promoted a product I would have NORMALLY never dreamed of promoting.

Or even thinking about.

Because I had subscribed to the belief that I needed to dominate my own little niche and do something totally “unique”.

That belief rapidly changed when my little 20-minute boredom inspired “test” made me $9,100+ in a single DAY.

And about $18K that month.

It blew my freakin’ mind.

That was more than I’d made (in profit) in my ENTIRE online career up to that point, even after 2 years of hard work, late nights, lots of traffic and “impressive” rankings, etc.

And it was from something that took me 20 flippin’ minutes to do.

As you can imagine, my direction just slightly changed after that point, and I began to focus my efforts around things that I KNEW were already selling.

Selling what people buy.

Quite the concept – and it works like crazy…

MY GOAL WITH THIS ARTICLE IS TO MAKE SURE YOU SEE RESULTS.

Not just “traffic” or rankings, that alone is not enough. Take my word on that one…

What it takes is knowing WHAT to promote, and how.

Because THAT is the only difference between going full-time or staying in “dream mode”. And it’s also a much easier switch than you might think.

Although there is some learning curve – but I’d say it’s worth it…

Alright – moving on…

What I am suggesting here is a business model that’s based on earning a profit based on the market value of the websites you build – and NOT just from their revenue…

You earn basically double what the sites would traditionally, and you can even sell sites that earn NOTHING for a nice little sum.

I personally think this is something that you should do as you start out in this business, because it’s the closest thing to a “guaranteed” income that exists as a marketer.

Largely because your income isn’t so dependent on marketing performance, which WILL take time to learn, etc.

(Even after my $18K “explosion” month, it still took a long time for me to “get it” and start earning good money consistently).

I should state up-front that this course is a “no frills” exposition of his proprietary business model and processes. By no means is this some sort of “mega package” with hours of learning.

On the contrary, it’s a workable, “connect the dots” business model that works, has always worked, and will work.

Methods of Link Building

Having an active marketing method that delivers a constant stream of high quality web traffic is definately an achievable task. In order to gain traffic you need a big web presence, and to get a substantial presence first of all you have to have a good quality website that Google can easily read, and second, a back-catalogue of good quality links pointing at your site from as many other authority sites as possible.

It’s not as difficult as it may sound to achieve this, in fact, considering the amount of systems in place willing to do it all for you, it can be reasonably easy. The first concept you’ll need to understand is that not all link are equal. A good way of judging how valuable a link from a particular site will be, is by checking its Google Page Rank. This is a system whereby Google ranks pages from zero o ten based on how much it values the quality of the content on a given page. Ten being the best, zero being the worst. Sites with no Page rank (below 0) either haven’t been found by google yet, or have been blacklisted from the Google listings and should be avoided.

In a perfect world, we’d all have lots of links from the home-pages PR-10 sites, however the fact that there are only around 10 PR-10 sites that exist somewhat hinders this approach, and those 10 or so won’t usually link to many other websites because they don’t need to, have nothing to gain from it, and would never stop receiving link requests. Even slightly lower PR sites, like PR-7/8s are very picky about who they link to. These highly ranked sites are known as “authority” sites and tend not to link to lower ranked sites (not very often anyway) because they simply have nothing to gain from it.

Your mission is to get as many sites with some PR or the potential to soon get some PR to link to you as possible. This means in effect that getting a link from a newish site that hasnt been live long, has no PR but is working on link building is a good strategy to adopt in the longer term. Google only allocated PR twice per year, so if you are unlucky you might need to wait months in order to gain some PR. The amount you are given will depend upon the link juice you squeeze from all the sites that link to you. The more, high pr sites you receive a link from, the higher your PR will ultimately be.

So what do you do to acquire as many links as you need? Well, people have been arguing over the best answer to that since the beginning of Google, but there are several options. You can scoure the web for sites that actively link. There are a lot of site for reciprocal link management, but reciprocal links are being seriously de-valued by the major search engines because they can see that there has been an agreement made, therefore the links are unnatural. They are still worth something though, as some reciprocal linking is natural, such as, supplier to cutomer etc.

By far the most efficient way to get to the good seats in the search engine results ranking (at the top) is with one way links (getting sites to link to you without you having to link back). As people aren’t very inclined to give away links for nothing, this can be quite difficult. Some sites may just genuinely like your site’s content and give link to you as a resource for their users, but generally speaking, you will have to give them return

You may have problems achieving these one way links if you only have one website. There are a few answers to this issue, but one way link management is the clear way to go.

Effectively, your site is entered into a triangular arrangment where your site (site A) links to site B, which then links to site C, which then links back to site A (your site) this is beneficial to each site to the value of one one-way link. The big search engines cannot trace these links and so they reward you with a big push up the results rankings.

Video Marketing – Incredible opportunities to promote your business

If you thought that video blogging was the preserve of the media savvy with the proper equipment and presentation style, then think again. Anyone can jump on this bandwagon and compete with even the biggest companies.

In fact, you don’t even need a camera as we will explain later in the article. All you need is some specialist video grabbing software and the ability to demonstrate your idea on your computer.

There are lots of video grabbing software out there – the most popular being camtasia. They offer a free trial and a video series to teach you all you need to know about doing a presentation.

After a bit of training, this software is easy to use and can be used to demonstrate any product or service you have. Once you have the video captured, this can be quickly uploaded to to massive sites like Youtube where it has access to millions of potential clients.

Rather that uploading your video to Youtube directly, you can use sites like TubeMogul.com to submit your video to multiple sites and save energy and time. Here, you can also track the progress of your videos.

So, why bother uploading your video to Youtube at all – would it not be better simply to embed your video in your own website? The great thing about uploading your videos to Youtube is that you can utilise your profile information in Youtube to link back to your site.

This is an ingenious way to promote your business web site. The reason is because the main search engines love the big video web sites like Youtube. Your video will be spidered in no time and a lot of the time this video will rank even higher than your main web site. This is one of the ways marketeers dominate the search listings.

So next time you see your competitors website rank on 7 of the top 10 positions on the search engine listings, a closer look at will reveal these methods to gain at least one of the spots.
